Always looking for ways to improve processes Natalie thrives and embraces change and has a keen interest in technology and automation. Having an accountancy practice that is 100% in the cloud not only means that having a remote team is easier but it allows the local team to be flexible in their working arrangements.

History
Natalie studied her entire Undergraduate degree part-time which enabled her to get a head start on her work experience and kick start her career a few years earlier than her peers. Natalie started off working as a receptionist and then quickly progressed up the ranks in various other roles before moving into public practice. After 6 years in public practice Natalie was offered a role as a Finance Manager and decided that it was now or never if she was to have a taste of life in a high level commercial accounting role. Fast forward another 3 years and Natalie decided she missed the client contact of public practice and the difference she could make to her client’s businesses and lives so she went back to public practice and became a partner after a short period of 6 months. In 2017 she decided to take a leap of faith and start her own firm Two Sides Accounting. Natalie has grown Two Sides Accounting to a team of 4 in 18 months and credits her success to challenging the norms and the way things have traditionally been done as well as just being herself and having a more casual approach with her clients. Two Sides Accounting also holds regular Xero Basics Workshops to help small business owners do their own bookkeeping and understand the reporting functions so that they can understand their business from a financial viewpoint.
